Hey all, I have seen a few posts in the past about the hackensaw boys and it looks like they are playing here in S. Indiana this week at the Bluebird. I haven't gotten a chance to hear them, but if anyone has any insight about them and if they are worth checking out.... that would be great! thanks |

The Hackensaw Boys are amazing live! I saw them in Raleigh about a month ago and it was one of the best live experiences I've had. Of course, it was partly the friends I was with, and the venue was really cool, but mostly they were just awesome. Incredible energy. I can't wait to see them in Virginia Beach later this month. |

So, did you go?
I saw the Hackensaw Boys last night in Virginia Beach and they were amazing! It was the greatest antidote to too many hours in the library. Is there anything better than dancing, and singing, and beer, and hot fiddlers? It was incredible. Everybody should see this band! |

Yes! I love that song, and we did.
There were six Hackensaws - Rob (mandolin), Justin (charismo), Jesse (bass, accordion, guitar, harmonica), Ferd (fiddle, bass), Jimmy (banjo), and a guy I hadn't seen before on guitar. |

Yes We went and i am so glad I did! We got there after a little late but the crowd was fired up and i think the venue ( Bluebird) was a great way to see them for the first time for me... maybe 300 people, they blew us away and i am looking forward to seeing them again in the future. if it had not been for people mentioning them on the forum, I never would have known! |
