Well, if its ok by morgan, i'm gonna pony up next week at Radford, then i'll probably have to get my dad to take me to nashville the next week to pick it up w/ a u-haul dolly, as it says the tranny needs work. I'll probably take it out to my farm and store it a while so's i can do the work on it - getting junkyard parts and what not. as soon as it's roadworthy i'll get it registered and all you folks are more than welcome to a ride in it. Like I said, us VA crowheads ought to get some roadtrippin' on to see the boys in it!! BTW - I asked morgan if a copy of Wawa comes with it!! |

per a newsletter from morgan
==============================
Howdy folks,
Sorry this is a bit late, but I wanted to give everyone who wished to a chance to bid on our old tour vehicle. It is a 1999 Chevy Suburban that took us all over the country for 2 1/2 years. Take a look at it and bid if you want. It ends in about 6 hours, so if you don't get this until after the auction is over, don't feel too bad. You might get another chance soon enough. Good Luck

I bet they sell the van next. (that's sad that I know what vehicles they have... yuck... well on second thought, I only knew of the van and not the suburban, haha) |

Well, I finally got out to NashVegas to pick up the ol' 'burban. Mega-thanks to the Rodge for shuffling it around for me to get the repairs done. Here's a few pictures of some Crow-sites from the trip...

Is that last one the Ryman???? What a COOL venue. Wow.
So you bought the Suburban, Pittsyltucky? That's pretty awesome. Does it work? |

It's a little rough on the interior, seeing as how the guys literally lived in it on the road for over two years. Looking at the paperwork, it's just about had everything worked on or replaced at least once. The transmission was shot, but I got it rebuilt and it should be good for another two hundred thousand miles... Engine purrs like a kitten and it rides like a Cadillac. VERY NICE... It was a pretty good investment (at least that's what I keep telling myself). After I get her cleaned up and the boys autograph their seats, it will be one HELL of a collector's item!!!
And yes -- that last one is the Ryman. Hope to see you there Hallowe'en weekend!!!
Oh -- and is that shot you're using for an avatar from a loom?? |

Its actually the inside of an old piano (not mine) but a similar make and model. I am feeling happy about recently it because its finally in a room where I can play like I want (and like it deserves).
I like to say I play a "non-portable" stringed instrument!
I don't weave. I do knit... but I've been told I do that backwards.
Congrats on the Suburban, have fun with it. If it could talk... I bet there'd be some tales to tell. |
