so...
this is about the time last year that we got the ball rolling on the Crowcaine Shirt Edition One. which turned out to be killer by the way! most of us round here have one and wear them out when we go see the boys play. they guys know the shirts by now and they know we represent the board and themselves when we rock these shirts at the shows. if you have one and you have worn it out to see the boys live, im sure you have had somebody in the crowd come over to you and say something like "that shirt is bad ass, where did you get it? where can i get one?" its really a good conversation piece!
anyways, with that being said...
i have spoken to therodge (the main backing for shirt number one) and we have kicked around the idea of doing an oldcrowfans.com Second Edition Shirt.
i really just started this thread to get an idea of
WHO WOULD BE INTERESTED IN ORDERING A SECOND EDITION SHIRT?
AND TO GET THE BALL ROLLING ON IDEAS FOR THE SECOND CROWCAINE SHIRT...
obviously if we dont get enough positive feedback about the second edition shirt we just wont make another one. but in my opinion, i think it would be cool to have another oldcrowfans.com shirt!
here is my idea for the new shirt...
a black tee shirt with white lettering or a grey tee shirt with navy lettering that reads
on the front
WELCOME TO...
on the back
THE MURDER...
(i think this one belongs to rlove, and since cornbread had the crowcaine idea, we gotta stick to that theme. in my opionion)
the shirt could also have oldcrowfans.com somewhere on the back of the shirt and maybe a couple of Crows on the shoulder blade section of the FRONT of the shirt.
as i said this is just my idea, lets hear yours! |

this is a VERY ROUGH idea of what i was thinking (in my head)... now i dont claim to be very artistic. and i was thinking of having a crow on each shoulder blade on the front of the shirt but, the website wouldnt let me do it that way so i just centered it. i dont really care for that crow anyways, this was just for an idea...
http://www.customink.com/designs/crow/8382675-1723063/social?cm_ven=social&cm_cat=google&cm_pla=lab&cm_ite=crow
rodge is there a way to actually post this as a photo here and not as a link. if so... which i know there is i just dont know how to do it, would you please? |

I love the idea of Welcome to the Murder... but the oldcrowfans.com should be below "murder".
I also like the the idea of crows flying up and over the shoulder... very kewl.
Not keen on a black tee at all... but the gray with navy would be awesome... or olive with black print. I do camp shirts in "heathered" colors every year with black print and it is really sharp looking. Not so in your face as white, but subtle.
And not to be picky..... I do believe rlove and I should both be credited with the saying... an effort of our collective brain power.
Oh, and in case this doesn't make it obvious... I'm in!![/url] |

cool with me! as i said the one above was just a rough start, no where close to the finished product!
and olive would be fine, but its kinda along the same lines as the brown one we already have.
i think heather grey with navy or black letters is the way to go this time round! |

I have absolutely no graphic design abilities.... or else I would be putting together a couple of ideas. Maybe I will get my honey to put some ideas together - he sorta knows a lot of different design programs. If we get something together, we will post it here. |

I think this is an awesome idea! I've gotten so many comments on my Crowcaine shirt, it is just crazy. I can't wait to get a new edition! |

bah, ours would be alot better than that, those suck! haha
found these in bulk for 16$... now, you gotta use your imagination, haha.
maybe that shirt with crows stenciled on the shoulders .. sorta like these sparrows
and something like this on the back in the V of the shirt... but at crow with "welcome to the murder" on the banner or something
but the images will like graffiti stencils... like

I think I might have to speak for the ladies on the board... or maybe not.... but I personally don't like pockets on my boobs - hence the pearl snap shirt for me is a turn off... though seeing you boys in it would be HOT Of course, for me it could also be that my favorite T is "not everything in Kansas is flat" which tends to be a problem when you are talking about shirts with buttons and snaps. |

youve been all about this idea from the get go...
i would be down, but as kitty said i dont think you could get the ladies on board. plus it my be a little "odd" if a bunch of us guys showed up to a show with the same button down crow shirt on. you can get away with a bunch of ppl wearing the same tee shirt though.
do you think the button down would sell as easily to random ppl at shows? i dont think it would personally. but you are the man when it comes to these shirts so ill get on board with whatever you wanna do! |

heck rodge - you said graffiti style.... so make up a stencil with the button down pearlies in mind, then send the stencil around to folks interested. Then folks could do their own take on color and such... maybe someone would bust out the old jean jacket and do a number on that! |

im all about some snap shirts too, but alas, that might be a super special run for me and rodge alone. haha. i want one like that. the sparrow crow idea is amazing. but ya know, maybe we can run the design on like 15% snap buttons and 85% shirt shirts. just a thought. |

Grey heather with navy! Definitely.
Just imagine.....the guys all show up in the button downs and us fewer girlies wore the same sundresses, we'd be mistaken for some polyandry religo cult? |

Well - here's the gist of my idea -- i'm looking for a late 19th century graphic with crows and some border graphic suitable to complete a "label" for some crow medicine - the upper part is the print for the "label".
the bottom part on back - pretty much full size depiction here depending on your monitor
"and it's fifteen cents for the morphine, gonna take me away from here!" |

heck, I have discussed the tshirts in the past with Ketch and he seemed to like the thought of bootleg shirts. So the more the merrier!
I'd like to sign off on any that have oldcrowfans.com though
digging those old fonts pittsy, I'm gonna try to find some really nice etchings of crows. Maybe throw one on yours for extra measure and print those bad boys up. And I can do my stencil one, and who ever has some other good designs.
As far as my stencil one, like foxy said, it might be best if ya'll just send me a shirt you like and spray paint it then send it back. Again, I haven't even made the stencil yet... and ya'll know how long it takes for me to get something done
