i really love this band. they hail from johnson city and play some of the most melodic/beautiful/heart-breaking music out there. they just did a recording session with daytrotter and you can download 4 songs (3 of which are new) for free here.

Guess you have heard that they're gonna be at the Bijou in Knoxville on Nov 20. Tix go on sale Aug 8th. Me & the wife are thinking about it. Really enjoyed them last fall at the Capitol Theatre in Greeneville. Already have front row center tix for the Avetts on fri at the Bijou. Does anybody know if they serve alcohol at the Bijou like the Tennessee Theatre does? Never been to a concert there before.

Loooove the everybodyfields. They've got a sound that I could listen to for days on end. Now if only Jill Andrews wasn't so damn ugly Rolling Eyes

RODGE RODGE RODGE!!!!! My friend that introduced me to OCMS actually went to East Tennessee State with Sam Quinn. Sam was a dorm room-mate. I was talking to him today and he gave me the disc of Half-way there. It has a cool vibe to it.

In the cover of it says "to my dear friend Wli, Thank you for the depts of my soul sincerly, Sam Quinn.

Holy Bat Crap this is freaky!!!

Ill have to Call Eli and tell him to stop buy and tell ya about it.!!!!

Small world.

Don't know if you know it or not but I went to ETSU too. What's your buddy's name and what was his major?

Yea, Sam's a quirky but awesome guy, for sure! He's got a contract for my soul or first born child in his shirt pocket. I recorded the Everybodyfields at the Station Inn about 3 years ago and he made me draw it up.. He gets my first born child or soul if I sell that recording. Needless to say I destroyed the recording because it started to freak me out after the initial humor of it was gone.

Shocked

Ha Ha Ha. I love the song Hobarts. Laid back, pickin, slow, vibe,

His name is Eli Winans. He just turned 30 sunday. I dont remember his major. He picks or did pick the banjo. It is funny, he introduced me to OCMS and I ran with it. He thinks I am OCMS junkie, I just love great music and great people.

It is creepy that you sold your soul, but did breaking the record break the curse? Or does he know you broke it. LOL If that a was the only copy he might be mad. LOL.

Me & the wife caught the everybodyfields at rhytm & roots in Bristol on sat. Sounded great & Jill looked even better. Big crowd too. They seemed a little surprised by how many people came to watch them.

dude, i was sad that jesco wasn't in asheville with the black keys, or if he was, he wasn't dancing on stage, might have been just hanging loose in the crowd. anywho, that black keys show rocked. my ears were ringing until late saturday afternoon it was so loud.
