Hello members that have never posted a message on the board,

We are pleased to have you but we'd like to hear something from you. Who ya are? How ya heard about Old Crow? What's your favorite songs? concert reviews, setlists, stupid pictures, what you're reading now... anything and everything. So let yourself be known!

That being said, we may start deleting accounts that have zero posts made.

540 of our 1100+ members have never made a post.

Alot of these accounts are spam accounts created by bots. Also when non-members and guests are on the site, we aren't for sure if you are a spammer or not. Alot of times I see guests from the same ip address viewing 10 different pages at the same time which throws up a red flag. I usually start banning the guest's ip address when it is noticed. This cuts down on spam bots creating bogus accounts and phishing. Avoid being mistaken as spam and in turn being deleted by speaking up.

Happy posting!
Roger

Well hello there. I've been a fan of this band for some time but finally got around to getting on the forum. It looks like good timing with a new album coming out and all. I have seen the boys live once (Santa Cruz last year) and I am looking forward to the Fillmore in November.

Glad to be here.
Followed the OCMS for a while now.
Absolutely love their tunes.
I have collected lots of recordings from live shows and love to hear multiple versions of the same songs listening to changes throughout the years.

Welcome Chick, here is a word of advice. This may not be the place to talk about live recordings, at least not bootlegs, unless you want to bring down the Law Dog.

Man, I love the lawdawg! When he springs, it's like the hook they used years ago on vaudeville to drag performers off the stage!

Name is Eli. Been listening to the BAND for awhile now. Started back in TN when I went to ETSU in JC. A great town for folk and bluegrass music. Turned a bunch of people on to them uncluding Jason Bannister who is now addicted.

Brother ELI,

Hey it is about time you made it to the board! You should post a hello in the Arrivals section. How is your new baby boy doing?

If it wasn't for that one night going to the Hockey game, I would not be one of OCMS biggist fans. Thanks Eli, Laughing

Welcome, Welcome you will love it here. Feel free to post and brouse.

JAson

I have been a OCMS fan since they made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry. I can't remember anyone else from the show, because I was so blown away by these guys. The next time I saw them was when they were playing out of their cases outside of the Opry! Happily I last saw them at the Ryman on their current tour. I have all the cd's except for WaWa...if anyone has a way for me to get it, I'd appreciate it. Happy to find this group!!

From what I have read here I think we can probably all expect a re-release of Wa Wa sometime soon...although to have the orginal would be awesome.

Thanks again for the warm welcome. And yes , I'm not a spammer. Just love this music as you do. When I saw OCMS at the Ryman I bought 'Eutaw' for the third time. You see, I share the music and my cd's end up missing! Thankfully I found I could order in online. So I will have bought it for the 4th time. Bought 'Big Iron World' twice. I guess you could say I support the band! In fact,it was as I was searching to purchase the cd, that I found y'all. Happy I did! Very Happy

One time my cd player got stolen outta my car...the thing that really pissed me off...I know whoever stole it listened to like, two seconds of the Old Crow cd then chucked it...I like to think maybe it created another fan but let's be realistic...

sukie, you saying you've purchased multiples of the same album reminded me of having to buy my second OCMS...it bothers me I don't have my "first" album of theirs, at least they didn't steal the cases...that's where my ticket stubs from shows are!!! But hey...more $ in their pocket when I had to re-purchase it...I like that you keep buying 'em once they go missing...I'm sure they do too!
