Hi,
My name is Charlie and new to this forum. I am a music lover, bluegrass fan, guitar player in my 50's who just discovered OCMS in the last few weeks.

I am hooked. Only have the first album so far and have been busy working out the songs..can't seem to keep Take em Away out of my head.

Any suggestions as to which cd to get next? Should I just buy them as they came out?

Again thanks for the new/old music the energy is great

Charlie

Get them all, Charlie. Everyone'll tell you different on what order to get them, but I'd say start at the back and work your way front. You jumped right in the middle there.
The "first" album Greetings from Wawa was just re-released. Order that up along with Eutaw and LIVE, get on top of those, and then get Big Iron World and Tennessee Pusher to get current.

Welcome to the murder, Charlie. We need all the 50's we can get around here.
Enjoy having a look around the place. You may well find some help working out those songs.

Welcome! Glad you're here! Like 'Tucky said, just get 'em all. A small price to pay for lasting enjoyment....

Sometimes I daydream about finding "Vegas" and making all of you speechless with awe.

Very Happy

And Charlie, you're going to like it here. Fine folks.

Hey is that Charlie?

Look it's Charlie. c'mon in Charlie.

We just having a little music here.

I went home from my first gig singing take em away. I'd say Big Iron World next. then back for the fiery stuff (Live, Eutaw and the diverse Wawa)

The 'Internet Only' Troubles Up and Down That Road is probably closest in feel to OCMS

plus you'd want the single Down Home Girl for the version of Fall On My Knees, and then Tennessee Pusher, tho some of these other fellas'll tell you different (about the order i mean)

then there's the special stuff ... Soul Rebel and Chicken Pie - keep your ears out for them ....
hang around

I already started bringing OCMS to the weekly jam.
Take 'em away went over big,
Everybody was singing the chorus to Wagon Wheel just like it was "You ain't goin' nowhere"

Good stuff
