TELL HER TO COME BACK HOME (OH MY LOVE)
I'm feelin' sad and lonesome
I'll tell you the reason why
Just last Monday morning
My darlin' said good-bye
(Chorus)
Oh my love!
Oh my love!
Oh my love!
Won't you tell her to come back home?
Well you might ride that pretty red mare
And I might ride that roan
And if you see my darlin'
Won't you tell her i'm sittin' back home
(Chorus)
Well that river's lined with white oak trees
That river flows with brandy
And my gal she's so sweet to me
My darlin' she's just like candy
(Chorus)
But then when we got married
I bought her ev'rything she need
But she got so awful greedy
That she wanted ev'ry thing she seed
(Chorus)
Chords?? Anyone?? |

I think its right, but again I am sitting at my desk with no guitar. It could be in A, as the boy like to do, if so put capo on 2nd to play in A.

Is that a Blueridge your playing there Tuck? I have one and I love it. The sound of a Martin without the Martin price. I have not seen that model your playing, if that is one. |

It's a BR73... Mine was made on the 60th anniversary of D-Day, which I think is a pretty neat thing. Had it about three weeks now. Love the thing. First guitar I've ever owned. |

i had to look up roan. ive learnt a lotta new words up in hurr.
where's the vid from yesterday with 4 guys and started with the fiddle player in the front of the resta them?? we need a way to MARK post to view later. at home. as in not at work. where i watch them without sound. then lose them forever. cause my stars dissipate (a word that my spell check recommended). we knead (again, spell check) a RE-STAR button.
Roan
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Roan may refer to:
a roan, a valley that curves upward.
Roan Antelope, an African savanna antelope
Roan Lands, a character from Star Wars (kinky)
i really thought i had my answer at a valley that curves upward but...
Places
* Old Roan railway station, a railway station in Aintree village, Merseyside, England
* Roan Creek, rises on the Tennessee and North Carolina border, in Johnson County, Tennessee
* Roan Plateau, an area in western Colorado, USA which contains a variety of natural resources and scenic terrain |

a specific coat on a horse. I've heard a verse that talked of the dappled Roan. White hair evenly throughout the color. |

Tuck, that is a nice one! did you remove the pick guard? you like the 000 size?
I have had a br60 for a couple months and I love it. My local dealer has almost all the Blueridge models in the shop. I have been playing around with them for a while and finally broke down and got one. |

Merlin - I did remove the pick guard, which left only the slightest hint of a shadow. I bought the thing off of eBay, not realizing the 000 size was so narrow, but the thing is daggone twice as bright and twice as loud as my roomate's Ovation I'd been playing for a few years. My only problem was with the tuners, so I put a few more dollars into it and replaced them with some nicer, stouter ones that were chrome to match all that abalone. The thing had been barely played, and I paid a third of the retail price and it included a very plush hard case - it was a total steal. |
