I've been playing consistently for the last 20 years of my life, but does that make me a "True Musician" and have a way of life that others are not privy to? You came on here and dangled a carrot, a carrot you know that we (meaning fans of OC and old time in general) have been wanting to hear. I said listen and appreciate, not BUY. When was the last time you saw a board member sell another a rare tape, or exploit a rare find? You have no clue about who we are and why we're here, but you should. This music is for everyone, not the f@ck'n "in-crowd". The problem is you are too absorbed in your self. Like at the OC show in Towson 2007, you sat in the back of the pub with your banjo and looked so lonely wishing someone would come and play with you. The problem was the smell of asshole was wafting out to York Rd. and warned us all not to join you.
I'd love to hear it, but I'd rather listen to nails on chalkboard before taking anything from your drama-ridden, attention-needing, bullshit-covered hands.

I just think it is funny that this tape means so much...if you really want it get off the internet, figure out where they played when they released it, and visit that area and ask around...
i'm not privy to anything...but I do play music full time...it is my only job...

The search continues... and yes, we already know that only 50 tapes were made and mostly distributed in the Asheville and Boone, NC area... So keep your eyes peeled and your ears to the ground. Just beware yarn-spinners, jokers, and farraguts trying to jerk your chain or pull your leg. |
