Nice Score Lucy!!!

We have MF3, row D seats 3&4 and MF1, row H, seats 8&9.

My theory is with the flood of traffic, and the "holds" put on tickets while people decide, there are peaks and flow of availability. I know last year I about cried when I had like row Y in section 6 - but then Scot tried three hours later (after a teary phone call to him at work) and he got us four tickets in like row H or N or something in section 7... much better than what I had been finding first thing when the tickets were on sale.

So - the moral is.... try again later on today and see what pops up!

i feel your pain! guess we will just have to take what best available gives us on friday at 10am...

I'm hoping that will be the case. Kitty ended up with some good ones last year, so we'll see. And really, Rod and I ended up in some great seats that were vacant, so what the hay?

I am new to this site, but am a long time OCMS fan. I attended the Ryman NYE show last year, and, just like this year, was only able to grab 4 decent balcony seats (Balcony 13, Row H) by logging onto ticket master the minute the presale started. My question to the more experience folks is whether (i) I can snag better seats at the general public sale on Friday, and (2) assuming I do get better seats on Friday, will it be difficult to unload 4 $57 tickets in the balcony? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a great time at the concert last year and cannot wait to return!

Welcome.
Your tickets sound pretty good as they are. Keep in mind, four together is a difficult thing.
As to selling off extras, last year I had decent luck. The scalpers were asking way too much and I'm sure they ate the seats that Rod and I ended up sitting in on the floor.
I had two good seats that I let go to a couple for face value, taking a half-price mediocre seat off of another fella. Worked out good for me, but you don't want to be the guy getting half-price.

This early in the game, you should have no problem getting rid of tickets. Especially at face value. If you wait until the night of the show, you might not have such good luck.

Let's have a cheer for ...Row S! Laughing
I probably should have hit reload a few times, but I was a bit too panicked to risk it at that point. I guess I should start practicing my seat upgrade shuffle.
Anyway I'm still stoked!

Kitty~ I was in row M on the other side of the venue last year, come to think of it, and it was a lot closer than it looks on the seating chart. Hoping to wiggle my way a little closer, though.

Heard the pre-sale tickets are now sold out...and I saw a set of four tickets in row G on ebay for over $900! Crazy!

Once you're in the door the rest will take care of it's self.
Last year after the set break Tucky and I had nearly a whole row to ourselves.

I am sure there is no way to stop it... but that ticks me off!

repost... just looked and there are 13 set of tickets on ebay already! That does really make me mad..... They should all be yanked refunded, and put back in the pot especially since they are being sold for WAY more than face value.

Last year I decided to go to the show long after tickets were on sale and found myself getting really angry at the prices people were asking. I ended up finding two tickets a few seats apart through ticketmaster...I just hope other people out there figure out that they may have luck this way rather than paying such outrageous prices! Good music most certainly should not be available only to the highest bidder...

^^These will never sell. They were the seats Rod & I sat in last year (not literally) and probably the ones you and others might wiggle into (possibly literally) this year.
Kitty, it pisses me off, too. So much for a "fan" presale. It's nonsense like this that has led other bands to manage their own sales to fans.
