Hey sassmouth, I didn't find any, but here's my best guess... BTW - is this not the same tune as "Shack #9" ??
"Kitty Clyde"
Oh where dwells my sweet Kitty Clyde
With them rosy cheeks and golden hair
In that sweet little nook, by a clear running brook
There lives my sweet Kitty Clyde
Oh Kitty, sweet Kitty
She's my own dame I love, Kitty Clyde [pronounced "dam" ?]
In the sweet little nook, by a clear running brook
There lives my sweet Kitty Clyde
Well I wish that I was a little fish (a little fish)
I would not bite the hook nor the line (nor the line)
Oh I'd swing low and swim to the middle of the sea
I'd leave all them big fish behind
Oh Kitty, (you know) sweet Kitty
She's my own dame I love, Kitty Clyde
In the sweet little nook, by a clear running brook
There lives my sweet Kitty Clyde
Well I wish that I was a honey-bee (a honey-bee)
I would not gather honey 'round the flow'r (around the flow'r)
I would steal just one kiss from that sweet Kitty's lips
I would build up my hive on her brow
Oh Kitty, sweet Kitty
She's my own dame I love, Kitty Clyde
In the sweet little nook, by a clear running brook
There lives my sweet Kitty Clyde
Well I wish that I was a turtle-dove (a turtle-dove)
Oh I'd fly far over the sea (o'er the sea)
Oh I'd fly, I would fly, boy I never would return
Let my sweet-heart send for me
Oh Kitty, sweet Kitty
She's my own dame I love, Kitty Clyde
In a sweet little nook, by a clear running brook
There lives my sweet Kitty Clyde |

Pittsyltucky - - I think you are right. If it isn't exactly on.... it is pretty darn close. Is the version on Renfro Valley the same as on WaWa - - -or a totally separate recording? Haven't picked that one up yet.... Looks good though. |

Does any of you folks know the chords for this one?
A friend of mine who plays the fiddle and I are trying to figure 'em out, but it's pretty hard for us... |

You can watch Willie pluck it un-capo'd in A here:

Simple A, E & D. Or G. D & C. You should be able to figure the changes. |
