The Karl Rove reference might be to a supposed cocaine bust for Bush in 1972 and Rove's later/alledged leak to James Hatfield?
Elijah Wood tho ... got me. Curious

Elijah Wood was in a movie where he took the fall for his roomate's stash. That was the only thing I could find on him and coke. It would have been a lot better if they could have found a way to use Doc Gooden instead of Wood or Rove one.

What does he say in the beginning of the song? It's fast I couldn't get all the words.

Well let's burn a little rubber down that I-65 corridor bringin' the good stuff down from Vanderburg County, Indiana - a one...

Ketch tends to change the interstate and origin of the good stuff according to the city they are playing in when this is done live.
I guess your equivalent would be something along the lines of "Well let's burn a little rubber down that BR-116 corridor bringing the good stuff over from Sao Paulo - a one..."

Well, well a really good one. You did some research about the Brazilian roads? Didn't you? hehe

Thank you so much for the transcription, I would never figure it out by my self.

there is also a blues historian called Elijah Wald so it would make sense to be asking him!
