Nice work, AP. That's a pretty great version of Skillet at Morelock.
What's the story behind them playing with Ferd? Was that just a few shows last year or was there more to it than that? |

Ferd has a monthly radio show (when he's not on tour) that takes place on the first friday of each month. He usually plays, and has a guest or 3 play as well. Once they finish the radio show, they tend to travle about a block donw the street and play at Morelock Music for the restt of the evening.
Ferd and SFR are also friends with Morgan O'Kane, so it's not uncommon for them to be playing together anytime they are at the same place. Not sure how many times ferd has played with them.
hope that helps. |

For those of you who enjoy these crazy kids, and are perhaps hoping to see them at a festival over the summer you have a chance to help them out.
They are broke down on the side of the road and aiming to make enough to buy a van to get them where they are going. here's a link to their kickstart page:
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spiritfamilyreunion/spirit-family-reunion-needs-a-van
If you were thinking of getting their CD this would be the way! |

EDIT 45 minutes to go and 135 dollars to pass the finish line
EDIT 30 minutes to go and they need $70
EDIT phew - they made it with 15 minutes to spare |

Woo! So glad they made it!
Gave what I could but wish I'd had $1000 so that they'd come and do a show in my house
But good to know they'll be able to get a new van! |

Dang - all of us on this side of the pond should have just chipped in and we could have got them to come over and play at one of our places... |

I think there was recently great excitement about the everybodyfields playing at Bristol Rhythm and Roots. I know I'm pretty darned excited to be seeing them.
Side note: I'm also very excited to see my very favorite Milwaukee band, the .357 String Band, on the list of performers for Bristol. If y'all (especially kg) haven't heard them they are definitely worth it! They put on an awesome show too... |

That is really great on both bands! I saw where SFR were coming. Didn't know about the reunited Everybodyfields! I'm def goin to both.
Can't go to Bristol Rhythm and Roots again this year. Gotta dang wedding to be in. Third year out of four where I can't go because of something like that. Aw well. |

I haven't found a way yet, Stu, which is why I don't listen to as many concerts as I used to. |

Sorry for all the posts, but it appears that Mat Davidson (Twain) is back in the band. He was on tour with the Low Anthem for a while, but they hired another multi-instrumentalist, and Mat is one several of the recent SFR videos on YouTube. |

Don't be sorry, I'm glad you can keep us up to date! That's a good band right there.
As for the dance thing- eeeeww. I could be down with that if she would admit to enjoying a powerful hallucinogen... |
