There was no room at the shelter

And the cars where blowing by going up to the mall
No one stopping to help a homeless couple on Christmas eve
Now he's carrying a bottle in is arms
She carrying a baby in her whom
And crying and fighting over what they don't remember
She says Joe I think the babys coming soon

And they ducked down some dark street Nd up an ally
Lays her on a pallet for a bed
