Got it. I guess that's a nice person to have as your biggest fan.
Phew. For a while there I thought it was some awful pun on his name. |

I'm glad I saw them a couple of times. The new fans who haven't seen them with Willie will have no idea of what the band was/is really like.
I have to say I don't know if I'm really interested anymore without Willie in the band. As much as the band was great as a whole and there is no denying the talent all the way around, I'd probably rather see willie and maybe someone on slide and someone on standup bass come around, than see old crow without him come around. |

eh, I never thought it was the same band since Critter left in the first place. does seem like there must be some personality troubles or whatnot, since it seems like can't never have em all in one place like anymore. |

Wow, I wasn't sure he was yanking my chain, but looks like Chance McCoy is in too??!!
He's a superb old-time fiddler (and musician/singer in general), so should be a great addition to the line up!
I haven't seen this confirmed on any of the Old Crow pages yet though... |

On his FB. And he mentioned it. But all related FB posts have now been pulled and it's gone all quiet. Which is why I'm not sure what to believe? Although he's not the kind of guy who would joke about such things, so no idea what's going on... If I hear more I'll be sure to let youz know... |

someone associated with the band may have asked him to remove it. i cant imagine why he would post that then take it down on his own... |

That's what I'm thinking too. So I'll just shut up on the subject until I hear an official announcement |

I'm so excited and happy for him!! He's moving to Nashville just now, and i really hope it all works out for him.
The website or the Old Crow FB page still don't mention anything, but the newsletter I just got in my emails does officially confirm it:
...OCMS (Ketch Secor, Critter Fuqua, Kevin Hayes, Morgan Jahnig, Gill Landry, and Chance McCoy) will be hitting the road to tour the US this Summer in support of Carry Me Back....
So it seems that Cory's indeed out. Even before I heard about Chance, I did wonder if Cory might leave when I heard he was playing in Jack White's band. |

Aye, apparently, his "official title" is meant to be "guitar player". But, awesome fiddler and banjo player that he is, I'm sure they'll swap out. |

Well, y'all, I got my wish. Critter is back. I am sad about Willie, and when I first heard I wasn't sure I'd get over it, but then I saw them play with Chance McCoy.
I'm over it.
