I have a NESRA Hat- North Eastern Sasquatch Research Association, but It is a plain old Baseball cap, and no one has ever even inquired about it. Does that count as an Adventure Hat? Or does it have to be made of coon skin, or be worn while on Safari, or have exotic feathers from extinct birds?

I only ask because I want an Adventure Hat.

Dan, I think Adventure Hat has more to do with the state of mind of the wearer, so whatever hat you feel to be an Adventure Hat is just that.
Of course, some Adventure Hats lend themselves toward more adventure than others, often times to their own peril - as is the case of Lucy's recently misplaced Adventure Hat.
Coon skin? Sh*t yeah, man. Ad-Ven-Ture.

Maybe it's just me, but I've always insisted any reputable Adventure Hat burn acetylene.
