Anybody else going to make it to this one? This will be my first show since seeing them in the same venue with the Avetts last year.

I wasn't going to go given that going to Alpharetta in rush hour traffic on a Friday, no less, is a disaster. But, we like Remedy so much, that I broke down and bought tickets. So at least a few OldCrowFans will be there!

Yeah, I guess coming west from ATL is pretty shitty. We didn't have any issues last year, but that's coming from Jasper through Cumming.

Now that we're old and can't hang with the young'ns - we'll be in VIP section 7 if anyone wants to come sip some wine with their pinkies up in the air. CROWCAINE!

I went to the show Monday night in Black Mountain, NC. My friends and I kept on saying "five years ago we'd be up front, etc." I feel your pain gwrap.

Great show. They came out guns blazing for sure. I was a little disappointed they didn't play Brave Boys... been dying to hear that one live. Came away with some souvenirs...

Highlights of the show for me were
"Georgia on my Mind" by Cory
Cory's reference to the Clermont Lounge in the intros (if you don't know about the Atlanta institution google it. Watch out for Blondie!)
Critter switching his hat for a Braves hat thrown into the crowd and the ensuing tomahawk chop chant.

Interestingly, no one we met at the show had ever seen Old Crow before. We were definitely the elder statesmen of Old Crow because people were shocked when we told them we'd been to 25-30 Old Crow shows. I joked with them that my dog had been to more shows than them (that bonfire at Quail Run Farm was some good memories!)

Also, I was wondering what Ketch would do with the "Georgia lost to Tennessee" line in Dearly Departed Friend. I think he ad libbed it when he said "Georgia beat Alabama," but that hasn't happened in years!

I'm sure he sang "Georgia lost to Tennessee" in Nashville, although something like "Vandy beat Duke" could have been more apropros.

Sounds like a great show for sure! Ya... I don't know if I can take that front row much more either!! I love the piece about your dog being to more shows than most the folks around you... what a hoot.

I know he said Vandy beat someone at our show... maybe it was Georgia.

As bad as I hate to miss a show in Athens, I'm actually opting to hit up the Chattanooga show instead. It's a little closer for me and on the weekend.
