I thought it would be good to have a home for this since it's probably going to be something worth watching and we know that Ketch is going to be involved.

A couple things that have recently popped up:

Short interview with Ken Burns and Ketch

Here's Ketch playing "Wabash Cannonball" on Roy Acuff's old fiddle. "Wabash Cannonball" is the oldest song included on The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll list.

Yea man, it's so great!

Actually got to see the first episode at the Opry House, Sunday night. Old Crow preformed a handful of rare songs like Golden Slippers, He's In The Jailhouse Now, etc. I'll keep my eye out on the archives to see if WSM posts it.

The Doc is something special. Can't wait for Ep 3 tonight. I feel like this is Ketch's answer to Willie Watson's Coen Brothers film appearance. So far, Ketch has sort of been stealing the show on all the interviews, except Merle.

Good good stuff

Yeah, I'm watching episode 3 now - haven't seen Ketch yet. I wonder if he'll be limited to the first episode? I remember him talking about the origins of country in the past - do you remember when he gave that talk on the history of rock n roll back in 2008? He talked about the fiddle and banjo representing the fusion of cultures. Must've been a warm-up for his involvement in this doc. Hope he makes more appearances!
