at least a couple of unrecorded songs on there, but I'm not overly enthused by this list! |

The two covers flew under the radar for me, I didn’t realize they’d performed them. It’ll be interesting to see what shows the pull from. Hope the packaging looks sharp!
Anyone plan on going to the NYE shows this year? |

Listened to their pre-post on billboard.com. I might buy it. Meth was amazing and more jammy than other versions. |

I might not buy it just because of Sixteen Tons alone, haha
Nah, I'll give it a whirl and see if I want it on vinyl. I'm sure most of it's really great |

I'm still waiting for my CD to arrive, but listening on my computer, it's nice to hear a fully-produced live document of these shows, rather than the crappy YouTube recordings that I usually listen to. It SOUNDS great. I kind of like the conceit of a "greatest hits" of their Ryman shows, rather than just one show. Keeps it snappy. I'm surprised by the abundance of covers and traditionals (5 out of the 10).
I know I've heard this song 10,000 times, but I'm still a sucker for the audience sing-along to "Wagon Wheel". Getting Lee Oskar for "CC Rider" is cool to hear, I like the jangly barroom piano sound of "Tell It To Me"..."Methamphetamine" cooks ... The vocal decisions in "Sixteen Tons" and "Louisiana Woman" I'm realllly working on giving the benefit of the doubt so I'll reserve judgment until I've heard them a few more times.
When the CD gets here, I think it's gonna be a nice album to listen to in the car |

That last sentence wasn’t meant to be pejorative - I just meant it’ll sound good. What did everyone else think? |

I listened through it all the way once. Haven't bought it yet.
Meth, Louisiana Woman, and Will The Circle are my favorite tracks on the album. |
