good to be here and here i am in bristol, tn
have been a fan for 1year/3weeks/2days/4hoursand half a minute.
i currently listen to ocms religiously, with some doc boggs, bob dylan, neil young, johnny cash thrown in.
am a guitarist of 18 yrs, and recently took up the banjo and jaw harp.
i've seen old crow live 3 times , and met ketch at the dollywood show.
i've bought all the albums except fo' greetings from wawa, which i would be elated for someone to hook a brotha' up with.
anyways, hello, and thanks to the band for being and doing what they do.and thanx to all involved for this site.

welcome i'm new also and i've got one pointer for ya that i've learned in the week i've started this forum...don't put out to many posts or therodge will get scared that you're tryin' to catch up with him and then he will probably throw in a really corny joke as if he is better than you

Here's the thing man. Before the hack, when we had tons of quality content, reviews, personal photos, song tabs...etc. I would have been perfectly fine with you spamming till your were Old Crow or whatever dumb rank you want to be. Actually I take that back... I'd rather there be no ranks and no post count. That way you just have people that are here to read about the Crows, share some cool things about themselves, and contribute rather than thinking of anyway they can to boost their posts and try to get people rawled up. The first 3 hours you were a member of this board you managed to post 20+ messeges, get one topic locked, and piss off the owner of the forum through Private Messeges were she was being totally civil and cool with you. Just chill out and take it easy.

Rodge worked very hard to redesign this site and he is a mod, he is a wealth of knowledge on all types of music and the fact that you don't repsect that he asked you to do one tiny thing is f'd up. I certainly don't think that rodge was in anyway trying to disrspect you, but if your undies are all in a bunch and you can't take being told by the people that run this site, don't post and none of us will trade the 50 or so live shows that are out there, not to mention all the old albums and EPs. Thanks
