Don't think Ferd yet at that point - but I may be wrong. I miss Good-Time Charlie. Every once in a while when you catch them in C-ville Charlie'll step in. ALWAYS bad-ACE!

The only reason I mentioned Ferd is because at the beginning of Cumberland Gap one of them says "What did you do FOUR" and another one says "Pooped his pants" not sure if its Ferd or not?

Don't think they have 'em anymore. Justin was wearing an OLD one (also black Twisted Evil ) a couple months ago that had a break-down on "how to build a charismo" --- the general consensus was that that old screen HAS to be found and a new run of them done...
I got a cool sticker design done up for the boys using one of my 19th century fonts -- i need to find somewhere to print them up.

They did have shirts for sale two weeks ago. I was thinking about getting one but after the show they were busy with the young ladies so I let it alone.

Well dang, they just don't do much merching in Virginia anymore. I guess they figure anyone who's interested is already wearing their Hackensaw underwear.

They only had a couple of these shirts a while ago(8years or something)

The have the shirt with the saw also in brown, and they have/had blue Look Out shirts.

I think I have 7different shirt of The Hackensaw Boys, So they had some different shirt, but when they sell out they make new ones and I have no idea how many of the shirts the print everytime.

Crying or Very sad ... but they still sounded awesome. Outdoor venue in the cool Tennessee evening at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. You can't beat that. No pics because I forgot my camera.. Crying or Very sad

Simon I'll have to give it another listen....I thought sure I hear Four when he said that I may be wrong.

The Hacks are gonna be at the Down Home in Johnson City on Feb 27th. I'm gonna be there for sure. They tore the roof off the joint when they were there last March. If your anywhere close to East Tn you can't beat the Down Home for a good rowdy live show.

Probably so.

Ferd just moved to Knoxville, and he's going to doing a monthly radio show on WDVX (provided he's not on the road) eavery first Friday of the month.

I talked to him last week, and he said he's got a side project that will be opening for the Hackensaw Boys here in Knoxville. Should be fun!

Don't forget, Down Home in Johnson City this Saturday @ 9:00. I'll be there at 7 holding down my table against the stage with the help of a pitcher of beer.

I'm trying to get them a show down here at the Basement. It should happen soon.

I'd definitely be at that Down Home show if I didn't already buy tix to Akron/Family here in town on the same night. Yall blow it up JC style!

Matt Morelock, Ian Thomas, and Ferd are going to be playing (for thirty minutes...) at the Laurel Theater in Knoxville on March 14. They are playing as part of the Laurel Theater's Jubilee Festival. Lots of Old time music going on that weekend.
