Roge I went to that show it was on a friday. Caught the hacks live three times that day and them twice. They do sit down the whole show. They had to stand at the blueplate and they hated it. But man on man the energy these guys have. they would prolley die if they had to stand for a whole set. Im not much on there studio type stuff but live they blow my mind and coupled with the hacks you r def in for a good time....

Well, I'm late to the party, but I watched the Blue Plate special "The Darkness and the Light" and really dug it. I've been playing it over and over on Youtube. Generally I'm not into bluegrass and its showoffy-ness, but if their melodicism is consistently of this quality I'll be very excited.

I must say these guys mount a fierce attack for five guys sitting in folding chairs. I am looking forward to them coming back out to California in April. That was great fun.

Just caught them at DelFest. Sitting down sorta blew because you couldn't see them in the back. However - it was a hot show... the speed they played and the temperature!! I would certainly catch them again if they rolled through.

Tonight is their show in Carrboro and I have tickets in hand (or at will call I should say). The venue has been revamped, so excited to see it. Going with the honey... so we will see how it goes. Awfully late on a week night for us Laughing But tomorrow is FRIDAY! So looking forward to the weekend... been so busy with work that I haven't been able to sleep in since the last weekend in September. How sad is that?

We played right before these guys one day at Floydfest. They were really nice guys, especially after they tripped and knocked down my guitar player/ banjo player's equipment. haha. Awesome group though!
