Solo at that particular gig. I've got a drummer, bass player, and guitar/mandolin player too.

The show was great last night! Matt Kinman, an ex Old Crow (see Renfro Valley CD video), did some mighty fine flat foot'n during a Wilders tune. Mike Bub was running sound. Some of the Grascals were in the audience. Tim O'Brien and Casey Driesen joined the Red Stick Ramblers for their last 6 or 7 songs... it was pretty dang awesome! I've got a soundboard recording of it all, too! *wank* Wink

yea, actually I think he is the house sound guy. I think just does that and joins people randomly on stage every now and again. He likes playing with Shawn Camp and the Sidemen.

Whatever happened between him and Del? Did he leave on bad terms or did he just decide to try something else?

I liked him in the band....he was a fun guy to party with too

I have no real clue. But if I was a betting man, I would say that he got tired of the road... And I think he has a new baby. Playing bass for "the hardest working man in Bluegrass" has to take its toll. I pretty positive it wasnt on bad terms though. I've talked to a few times and never got that vibe. Never flat out asked him either.

but Matt Kinman is another matter...
