This is what I made for the show in Richmond, KY.
I was thinking we could modify the star to a crow symbol, or incorporate a crow into the state. I have my orig files if any of you want to modify them, just contact me.

I'd like a Johnson City and a Crowcain shirt. All I ask is that we get them made somewhere that offers 3x because ...

uberprints.com has heavy cotton T's that are screen printed, not heat transfer. If you get a minimum of 12 they would be $16.86 or less (for smaller sizes).
Product: Gildan Ultra Cotton Heavyweight Tee
Product Color: sports grey
Decoration Type: Screen Print
Details: 1 color front, 1 color back |

I had an idea of a different, seperate design. Not to take the place of the what ever crowcaine thing we figure out, but maybe something for another time. Tell me what you think.

How about a Johnson City shirt with something like this on the back:
SHACK #
. 9
oldcrowfans.com
Something like a baseball-type jersey. I don't have the computer knowhow to do that on a tee. Could anybody try that scheme out? |

Not to burst anyone's bubble or anything, but I think the further we get away from an oldcrowfans forum shirt, with OUR legitimate ideas like "crowcaine", and start using lines from their tunes or song titles, the further we come closer to stepping on their toes (I think "my crowcaine habit's mighty bad..." is punny and probably legit). Don't want to get anyone in the organization (i.e. their management) pissed at us. And trying to get it made and/or sold thru their merchandising is probably not a good idea - best to keep this forum thing within the forum -- you gotta join to know or get it!
Though, on the other hand, on the Dead scene - parking lot shirts made by the fans always were the best ones (but legally speaking, not legal at all!). Just something to consider. Not trying to be a party shitter or nothin'. |

I agree, the "heart design" was just something that popped into my head the other night and I thought it a neat idea for another time or maybe never at all. It was fun to create it and see how it turned out. That is why I said it was not to compete with the "Crowcaine / Forum" shirt, I just wanted to see what people thought.
I think that "Crowcaine" is damn cool, and something that only forum members will get, kind of like knowing the secret handshake.
Anyway can we get to it and finalize something so we can put this baby to bed? I was hoping to wear the shirt to the NC show. I don't know if we could swing that now. |

REMOVED
-----------
Also, I set up another storefront that has the "Heart Break" design. (Unfortunately, the free cafepress.com accounts only allow you to have one kind of each item on each storefront. So I used all the cool T-Shirt offerings for Crowcaine, and had to set up another account to be able to get the Heart on a shirt.)

Friends,
I wonder if we should slow down on this. I don't pay for oldcrowfans.com anymore (Roger does), but I do feel that if the shirt is going to have the domain name on it, it should be chosen by the whole community. Perhaps we can keep discussing ideas, decide on a few options, and then vote? I'd feel easier about using the domain name in that way.
Just an idea...

I couldn't have said it better myself! No offense jkorp, but I don't want theURL on something without my approval.
Sorry ya'll that I've been draggin my feet on some of my designs. Jkorp, I appriecate you giving us some ideas. Like Libby said, we'll get us a few designs together then vote on em. Ya'll be rocking them before ya know it. Definitely before Bonnaroo, thats for sure! |

Hear, Hear, Libby...
When I suggested the t-shirts a couple months back, I remember mentioning that we should keep costs down and not make a profit, per se, but any small incidental "profit" should go toward helping maintain our fans site. |

OK, fair enough. I guess I was hasty because I wanted to have something for the run of shows coming up. So the Crowcaine shirts have been taken off the shop.
I am going to leave up the Heart Break shirts, they don't have the URL on them. |

Thanks for the work jkorp. I am definately looking forward to getting some of these shirts!!! Rodger and Libby - thanks for making sure that forum is in support - - - and if the funds from the shirts go to help partially sponsor this site, I am all for it. |
