Spoke with Gil and he said he is gonna record a "solo" album with the Felice Bros. in NY state this January and was gonna have a crap load of guests on it too. Seems like Willie has told me he was gonna do some recording with them around that time too. Heck, all them boys might be stowed up in a cabin somewheres bouncing ideas and songs off each other... hopefully we will get a few glimpses into that magic |

Hey KG,
that entire series of pictures on the Syncopator website are about as good as it gets. Gill is certainly a talented a guy (and witty, yet not pretentious). In the future I hope he gets to do some more writing for the boys... |

Here is a picture of the first time I ever saw the Kitchen Syncopators.
And here they are at the Oregon Country Fair.
Finally, Gill at Andy's in Chestertown, MD.

On Finally Finishing a New Album and Old Crow Touring
Howdy folks,
I just finished recording a new album of my songs with the Felice Brothers in an upstate NY chicken coop they gracefully converted into a studio. It’s got some great guest musicians including them and other friends of mine like Jolie Holland and Sam Parton singing, a dirtbag boys choir, horns, keys, drums, strings of all sizes and function, some usual suspects, and a good collection of songs if I can say so myself!?! I hope to have it out later this year!!
-Meanwhile-
I’m on the road playing Banjo/Dobro with Old Crow Medicine Show again this year and it’s been a great one so far! This month we’re hitting the Southeast with the Felice Brothers opening the shows from Tennessee to Florida to New Orleans & back.
I’m also really looking forward to our Australia and New Zealand tour in March! I’m going to take a holiday down there for a few weeks afterwards, mostly in New Zealand. If there’s any New Zealanders or Aussies out there with info on must see’s and do’s please let me know! |

Gill has two new tracks up on his Myspace page. I guess they're from the Felice Brothers sessions at Xmas. |

Critter did vocals for "Tennessee Pusher" and is still a member of the band, though he's currently inactive. |

rodge might mean the boys' myspace site. Critter's name and photo are there smiling among the gang. |
