Show 64 - Gill Landry
Had a blast with Gill. A stand up gentleman.
He answered yalls questions in a round about way. From his site, that pic was taken in Ireland. And nope hes not married, Gill Landry is freewheeling and a wondering.

It was actually Gill's music that eventually brought me to the Old Crows, so thanks for that. I've never heard his speaking voice before. Your adjective was correct, soothing. Like a warm blanket!
The Spirit Family was great too. I like hearing what songs the musicians pick out to play. Thanks again. |

Twitter rodge. Its how I keep up with things nowadays.
You guys would know the timeline better than me, but I was trying to figure out the part where he said he left the band because Critter was returning. Was this in the process of happening or was it supposed to happen some time ago and didn't? |

Gill has been in the band twice now. The time he is talking about recording Lawless Soirez is in 2005/6 - he'd been playing with the Crows while Critter was on a 'leave of absence'. |

Coolness that he's coming over here! That way I might actually get to a show of his
The album should do well on the Communion label, as all the M&S loving kids will probably get it.. |

Darn! Bad timing. Presumably if he's here he'll play a few more gigs so maybe you'll catch him soon |

Short but sweet set from Gill tonight. So happy to finally seem him do his solo stuff! Got a couple of videos that I'll post tomorrow.
Chatted to him briefly afterwards. He's in the UK until the 27th but not clear what gigs he's got lined up other than this Saturday somewhere in Brighton. I will be in France, dammit!
Stu, you'll have to watch his Facebook page I think to find out what he's up to - seems like he might be making it up one day at a time! |

Gill is supporting Brendan Rogers (sp?) on the 12th at the Hope, Brighton. Doors open at 8pm. |

I could really use a good Gill viewing, but the posted videos don't seem to work for me. All I get to view are the words 'Invalid Parameters." |

Weird error message. Try going direct to my You Tube channel - katie3059 and see if you can play them from there. |

Thanks for those Katie. It looks like he was performing in someone's cubicle or something. I love the new one, it's beautiful. Nice job, thanks again for sharing. |
