Oh how the Old Crows have grown. Great video, it is wild how the video for Tell it to Me was shot in front of a couple hundred people and this in front of a couple thousand. I am happy that these guys are doing so well commercially. It is hard though to watch the evolution without Critter standing there next to Willie. |

Awesome!!! I hope this means the DVD is soon to follow. That was shot mostly between the Orange Peel and the Tennessee Theater. The marquee at the very beginning was from Legends @ Boone...
And the infamous "knee-slide" by Kevin... HaHA!!!
Well, Kitty and Bean - we didn't make the Caroline video, but that doesn't mean we won't be on the DVD at some point! |

That was a pretty cool video. I would have liked to seen a little more of the other video vs the boys singing to tell the story a bit more, but it was fun to watch nonetheless!
PS - Thanks for killing my afternoon productivity. I was doing so well today until this came along. Now it is OCMS videos for the next hour |

Makes it feel as if it is the first time I heard them which is a great feeling. I've only seen them once before :( and it was amazing |

I was trying to keep a count of "costume" changes... but lost count when a student came into my office. I know in Asheville they played Caroline twice, and Ketch had ditched the outer layer for the encore.
Certainly my beautiful signs made the DVD!!! |

Even though I was right there in the front row at the Orange Peel, I'll be surprised if I'm on the dvd since I was taking pictures most of the show.
I like the video, but something about it feels flat/lifeless to me... I can't put my finger on it though. Is it the studio recording with live footage? |

As much as this is a delight to see, I feel that 'flatness,' too. I don't think there is any way to match with visuals the feelings one has while listening to "Caroline." I'm beginning to think that it's Ketch's best song to date. The older version is all the more a pleasure beyond easy description. |

yup. I think Jumpin' Bean hit it on the head. You have the live shots and the live feel.... yet a studio recording that just doesn't have the "umph" of a live recording and sound. It is alright though... takes me to the fun place of remembering past shows...... |

Sorry if I'm behind the times and this has been discussed already, but what is the story with the DVD coming out? This is the first I've heard of it and I was just wondering of they had one. |

Wolf -- the Asheville and Knoxville shows back in December were videotaped with the possibility of a show-length DVD coming out. From what I understood, the main purpose was to get a video for Caroline, but both shows were videotaped in their entirety and there is still the possiblity of a DVD release. Apparently ruralvoice received an email today about the DVD, but I couldn't get to the link -- SO - hopefully that sucker is coming out soon! |

I hope you make the video from the Knoxville show too tucky since I was in row right in front of ya. I'd look goofy as hell with a big grin frozen on my face probably though. |

I would be so excited if a DVD came out this summer. I have a two year old little boy who sings Old Crow Songs and tries to play them on his little instruments. He would be entertained for countless hours if he could jam to a dvd. |
