Don't sweat it KG! Seriously... you do way too much around here.

I got my tix for both Nashville shows. Gonna be great!

WDVX in Knoxville has been playing tracks off the album for the last 2 or 3 days. I have heard 3 of the songs, and I can't wait to get my hands on the disc!

I heard "To Be Young (Is To Be Sad, Is To Be High)" last night on the radio and liked it. Ketch's fiddle piece was especially good with a surprisingly ornamented style. The harmonies didn't grab me though (if I'm to be perfectly honest.) I'm looking forward to hear the tunes live in December!

Funny- we heard that last night on the radio, too. Scot was like.. who is this. I took a good listen and was like "I don't know, but it sounds really familiar and feel like I should know!" Sure enough, three songs later they do a run down of what they had played and boy did I feel silly!

Mrs. Kitty, I heard it on public radio (the show out of Philly.) Did you think the voices were pushed back a bit? That is, they kind of hid under the instrumentation?

Ya - - - it wasn't as impressive as some of their other "features". They played like four songs throughout the 2 o'clock hour, some old crow, and some Dylan.

I'll reserve judgement until my copy gets here and I can have a few listens, but I'm really looking forward to this one.

another reason why Nettwerk sucks. Seems like we would have got an email, facebook update, tweet or something to let us know they were gonna play it a few days or even hours before.

Monkey and the Engineer is my standout favourite. I think they really nailed it with the horn and harmonies at the end. Real nice.

I swear his voice reminds me of Loudon Wainwright III sometimes

Oh man! I just found out I have a board meeting on the evening of December 7, the same night the Rawlings Machine will be in Madison. This isn't good. Not at all. (I chair a committee and am really expected to attend the meetings. It's for a local charity, which only makes things worse.) December 7 is also my oldest sister's birthday, but we're doing the cake and presents thing at lunch.

Angel on one shoulder, devil on the other...

As chairman, can't you re-schedule?

Chairman of a committee, not the board. If I were the boss, we'd be meeting during my sister's birthday party. (Cake for everyone! Yes, I agree with everything! Have some ice cream! I move to adjourn!)

'I wanna be a honey but I got a sweet tooth'

I bought the new DRM CD the day it came out. I eagerly anticipated it. I wish OCMS had used him for Tn Pusher. The man is a genius in the studio.

Its pretty much Dave out front, with Gill doing backing vocals, with OCMS as the backing band. Ketch is hitting some sick bass vocals on this one, very subtle.

I'm going to the Louisville show. I'm tempted to slip down to Nashvegas for the Dec 3rd show, but won't cause I'm so tied in to my dang job!

Howdy folks, ain't seen y'all in a coon's age.

Nice pictures. Anyone know who that girl is playing the fiddle a little over halfway through the pictures?
