That would be cool if everybody could get seats together! The problem is location, though. You get much better seats ordering one or two than if you try to get six together. I'd suggest trying to hook up with one other person who'll be coming solo and buying a pair. Of course, that is assuming you want a good seat- it doesn't really matter WHERE as long as you're in the door... We're all gonna be standing anyway! Looking forward to seein' you again, Rod!
is anyone going alone? I'm buying two tix in the hopes of talking a friend into coming with, but as it stands right now I may be there alone...I know I haven't been around this board too long but it would be lovely to hook up with some of you if I do end up making a solo trip... |

You're a saint. I would have entirely forgotten the time zone difference!
Except...I'll be in class. Guess I'm leaving early. |

I was quite happy that Kitty had an extra. It was fun leaning over Scott to high five Kitty when the boys launched into Elkhorn Ridge. I am trying to figure out if I can sneak away from work at 8:00 to get the best possible seat.
Don't worry GeogGeek, there will be plenty of talk around here about when and where to meet up before the show. |

By all means do whatever you can to make the show, and bring your instruments.
Downtown hotels in easy walking distance are rather pricey. I'm thinking about getting a room
by the airport and using buses, taxis, and perhaps a ride from one of you good folks with a car.
Is it time to bring back the "Let's get kg to Nashville" banner? |

I vote for an after-show hoe-down for sure. Rodge - find us all a big room with a fireplace and lots of couches. We'll make our own party. Maybe find a cozy little place down on Dickerson? |

When I stay in Nashville, I usually stay near the airport. There is a cheap independent hotle there called the Alexis. I stayed there last year. It doesn't have a lot of amenities, but it's a place to lay your head for the night. I have also styed at most of the Hilton branded hotels (Hampton, Garden Inn, Homewood Suites), Baymont, Ramada Inn, and the Country Inn around the area as well. I haven't had a bad experience at any of them yet.
I'm not a drinker, so I'll drive from there and back. My old Jeep Cherokee isn't huge, but there is a back seat if anyone needs a ride.
Good luck with the ticket sales everyone!
If anyone gets balcony 11 Row A seats 2 and 3, those are mine! |

So - - I don't recall from last year... but nothing for the presale is up on the Ryman web site yet. Like when you click on 'buy tickets' the show isn't even listed. Does this magically appear at 10am CST?? Do you go through ticketmaster?? Argh!! This is so stressful!! I don't handle high pressure events like this.... |

I bought Sect 13 row B seats 7 and 8, and then my girlfriend bought Sect 14 row A seats 1 and 2.
We will probably keep the Sect 14 ticket. So I have two for sale. |

Aw, that's a shame, bo. I guess four together is tricky, no?
This is why it's good to have annoying friends. Ahem, MF3AA Seat 6. Yeah, I thought I was having a bad day today...Now I am just instantly paranoid that the Gods are going to prevent me from getting to Nashville, be they the Gods of money, transport, weather or what have you.
And I'm not going to lunch until the rest of y'all report in. |

Yeah. I'm more than a little pleased.
But you got people to share the Old Crow love with. That's good news for you and them. |

I gave up. These "fanclub" presales seem to want to unload the shittiest of seats on you first. Hopefully something better will be available at the regular sale on friday. I just couldn't go for Row U. |

Well shit, man. Talk about feeling unworthy of this gift from the old timey gods...
Good luck, everybody. Those sneaky tickets are there somewhere. |

I just kept trying. Plus I like the balcony as opposed to the floor. |

I agree with 'Tucky. The first set I pulled up was MF7 row W! What the heck is with that? I had to reload a few times and finally wound up with BAL13 row K 11-12. Good center seats though. |
