The extra footage/performances are really great! It would have been cool to see a 'making of' video or some more behind the scenes type things but I reckon that would have takrn away some it's magic.
Anyone else checked out the extras or see Rod yet? haha
Eagle eye, Rodge. That's me in an Old Crow shirt. My buddy John is next to me in a Packer hat. You can see us and Bean (taking pictures) in the first days Magnetic Zeros bit. Evidently I was in Arizona after all.
Got my dvd today. Love the behind the scenes stuff on the train. |

Got the DVD for my birthday. Wouldn't have minded more (full) performances on the train. Some really great stuff. I do hope they release some of those if they do a cd.
But anyone else hate the overuse of slow-mo and strangely positioned shots for the actual concerts? Ugh. Sometimes it's enough to just let the music speak. If felt like 50% of it was iiiinnn slooooow-mooootion. "Artistic". |

Has any of y'all watched The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour yet?
I'm watching it now. It was on PBS Thursday night. Trippy, kinda horrible, and kinda great. |

I've only seen the music videos for I am the walrus, and Your mother should know. I'm sure it's a wild ride.
But Yellow Submarine is a great movie, period. I recommend it. |

I didn't see the first part of the ceremony - - was this award given during the televised portion or earlier in the day? Were they mentioned at all?
Also a shoutout to the NC Boys of Steep Canyon Rangers for Best Bluegrass Album! |

Around the seven minute mark in the documentary when Ketch is explaining how he met Mumford and Sons and Edward Sharpe, Kevin refers to them as, "one is white pants, one in green pants." That part always cracks me up. Does anybody have any idea what he's talking about? That dude cracks me up in general. |

Just saw big easy express, the part with willie singing KC Moan broght a tear to my eye. It just makes me sad to see how good they were at that point and then to know it all fell apart...I know chance is a very talented musician I just can't get into his whole appalachia abercrombie look... |
