Anyone know anything about him other than Boone County (same place as Jesco White), hot dogs and chicken?
I have a friend that is a huge fan, and even had Hasil staying with him in Memhis for a short time before his death i 2005, Same friend has a record label, and is planning on releasing a Hasil Adkins record and CD in th enot too distant future. I have been asked to design an the record packaging. Which I have never done before. The name of the record will be Coal Mines and Car Crashes. The obvious choice would be a picture of a coal mine and crashed cars. I'm not postive, but I'm pretty sure that even if a record has a small printing (500 copies or less), the photos used will have the be okayed by the photographer. It's just the right thing to do.
Anyone have any photos of car crashes, coal mines. or maybe even Hasil that you might want to see on an album cover? |

That is super crazy awesome!
Just started getting into him. Heard him here and there but watched that White Lightning movie loosely about Jesco White and it had Hasil's music all in it. Crazy flick, crazy music.
I've heard there is a similar documentary about Hasil somewheres but I haven't seen it.
Man, let me know if you need any help on that design  |

The same guy who made Wild Wonderful Whites of West Virginia made the documentary about Hasil. Mamie White is in it. I found a copy at my local library. |

I might have a picture or two taken in a mine... and I have the photos I took of my most recent fender bender.
I might have some other stuff that would work. I'd love to listen to some of the tunes and them get back to you with photos suggestions. What is your timeline for getting this together? |

no timeline what so ever. my buddy has been sitting on the tape since 2004.
I need to figure out what sort of packaging he's doing at some point. He has some photos of Hasil he's gonna send to me at some point as well. He says he has one in particular that he wants to incorportate into the design. |

This is my second fender bender in 22 years of driving. The other one happened 22 years ago.
This one happened when I was picking up Lucy on the way to Floyd Fest. It had potential to ruin the day for me, but alas, I got over it. |
