Hi there folks!
So I've been a lurker here for a year or so now, but finally decided it's due time I participated around here, as you all seem to be a stand up group of people (as all Old Crow fans are).
My name's Austen and I'm an Old Crow fan out of California. Originally from the beautiful Bay Area but I'm living in Southern California these days.
Got to see the Old Crow boys live for the first time last April at the RRT show in San Pedro. My buddy and I immediately decided that we needed to see them again as soon as possible, and were lucky enough to make a trip out to Tennessee for Bonnaroo. We took a mammoth train ride from LA that included stops in New Orleans and Memphis, it was my first time through any of the South, quite a trip! I'll remember that show for a very long time, as we waited all morning so we could see them up front. Willie really put a helluva show on that day...
Anyway, just drove up last weekend so I could see them at the Hellman tribute on Sunday, and boy was I glad I made the trip. While there was no denying it was a completely different feel, what with Cory on high harmonies and Gill and Kevin notably absent, but it was still a beautiful show.
Anyway, I look forward to talking about OCMS and getting to know some of you on here.

Welcome to the murder!! I was at that RRT show in San Pedro (and the one in Tempe after that). That was a great trip for me west.... Got to see Joshua Tree which was on my "someday" list and had a crazy 72 hours concerting and traveling with Bean. She is an awesome LA-Traffic-Jam-Gotta-Get-To-The-Airport driver!

Thanks all for the friendly welcome!
Nice to see some fellow Californians.
Been getting all my friends to listen to Old Crow, I figure every little bit helps so we can get them to come out here more often.
When I saw them in San Pedro last spring it seemed there were so very few fans in attendance at the Railroad Revival Tour, it was a bit disappointing. However, there were more than a few fans singing, dancing and having a great time in San Francisco last weekend!
