I've been busy hosting house gigs this year. We've had five so far this year with another five lined up! Am on a promise for 2014 from a US band who've been talked about on this forum. Keeping my fingers crossed!
Anyway, I finally got around to blogging about it. Happy if you all took a look

Also tweeting from @Frontroomsongs if you're a tweeter,
Always after ideas and suggestions for singers and bands to play. Maybe Willie might fancy a trip to this side of the pond ..... |

We hosted another house gig this weekend with a new Anglo-American duo called The Two.
Anyone who remembers the film 'I Dreamed America' which featured an interview with Old Crow may just recognise the guitarist Matt Ord, who is featured in the film.
His partner, Niles, is a young fiddle player from Connecticut who is just brilliant.
Review and link to clips here

They finished up with a brilliant version of Radiohead's Paranoid Android, which may be up there with one of my favourite ever live covers! Sadly, not captured on video :( |

Congrats on Woody Pines! How exciting. I was gonna re-release a record with him, but things fell through. looking back I should have done it before I released my last record. Things coulda been different.
Tried to find you on FB, but it didn't work. |

Thanks Atomic! We're pretty excited about Woody!
Did that link not work? Seems to be working for me ...
If not, just search for front room songs and you should find it ... |

I saw Woody here in Michigan last year, I too enjoyed the tom drum. It was a fun show. I saw on his page that your show sold out. That's awesome. I think it's really cool hosting these concerts, keep up the good work! |
