I love the Erin go Bragh and Guinness wall hangings Laughing

I guess that's Ben Gould on bass, and is that Critter on 2nd guitar (far left)? The banjo player, though? No idea unless it's the guy who became an Avett (or was it a Hackensaw?)?

Kitty, Pittsy, Rodge? Help! Laughing

THat is Benny on the upright. Maybe the other fella is Matt Kinman?? He was with them in '98 I believe. I am also puzzled by the little snare drummer... I remember seeing them in '99 and there was a snare drummer once in a while, but I don't remember who that was.... hum.

there's a guy called Beren Argetsinger mentioned playing snare on Eutaw, and Hayes is listed as a guitar player (just Hayes, no Kevin ..) AND the guitarist is standing in Kev's spot Wink

So if that's Matt Kinman on banjo then Critter was on hiatus again Laughing

kinman was NOT with them at this time...

that's kevin ahern(sp?) on the banjo... most likely critter on the snare - i'm pretty sure it is, though i can't see the face real good. the guns n roses shirt is making me think probably so...

i think these photos are from somewhere about november...

Date solved!

Old Crow Medicine Show - Missoula, MT 1998

The account with the Flickr photos labels this as being from the Old Post, therefore this was a Halloween show. 'Tucky, you are as close to being right without being right as it's possible getting.

I'm guessing this is the oldest known photo of the Old Crow Medicine Show, as well.

Old Crow Medicine Show, Flyer, Little Grille, March 5 1999

Here's another poster of the same picture, for a 1999 show at the Little Grill, that makes it easier to see who's who

My guess:
Top (L->R): Kevin A., Critter, Ben Gould, Kevin Hayes
Bottom (L->R): Two non-playing friends, Willie, Ketch
