UNBELIEVABLE!!! AWESOME!!! & UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!! It's seems almost unreal when it's about 12:15am and the boys are still tearin it up for ya. They were filming like everybody said they would be. I can't quote it exactly but the set list seemed about the same as last night. With the factual band member intros & "this one is for the ladies" before Wagon Wheel. Sorta like they're gonna pick the best version of each song from the Asheville & Knoxville shows for the dvd. Anyways, I was blown away & couldn't ask for more. It was also great meeting ruralvoice, pittsyltucky, & amberfiddles. Hope to meet more of you guys in the future. Gonna turn in now. Voice is gone & my arms & legs hurt from clapping & dancing. |

The show was great!! I missed seeing anyone from here! Hope you enjoy these pics. I was in the balcony so I didn't get any close ups. Hopefully someone else will have a few to share!! I will get the whole set loaded to flicker later.

I have to copy and say Unbelievable, as well! The boys were hamming it up big time! Never ever seen them so into it before. Not even close. Ole Willie Watson was a wild ass! Especially during Tennesse Pusher... shoot, I 'bout thought he was gonna pour lighter fluid on his fiddle and conjure up demons like Jimi Hendrix or something. It was really something awesome.
Kevin was probably the most animated too! Dude did a dang knee slide across the stage. Seriously, it was like a scene outta Back To The Future. Go Johnny Go! haha!
You know that fire on the mountain video for my LA? They were that intense the whole way through the show. Which makes me wonder if they were filming that too? Or are they just that bad ass right now?! On fire I tell ya's! Ketch was blazin'... Gil's clawhammer'n has really improved by leaps and bounds... and Morgan was thump'n that junk!
Sooooo glad I got to see at least one those shows. I know I really missed out with the others. Hanging out with all the fine folks on this here forum.
took this one with my phone
more to come! |

Great show! I also thought willie was going to destroy the fiddle on Tennessee Pusher, he was acting crazy! I was in the front row and took several pics. I'll try to post them up if I'm not too lazy. |

What a show. Truly awesome (and that gives new meaning to "awesome")! This show has to rate up there with the best concerts I have seen in my life, and I have seen the Beatles (1964) and Elton John (1975). The energy in this show was something you dream about. Wow am I glad I drove there from Nashville! |

I was really hoping for a chance to see Kevin sing live but was loving the way he was cutting up all night and really having a good time. I know what you guys mean about Willie really feeling it during Pusher. When he just let the fiddle thump on down on the stage a couple times I was caught off guard. That on top of him breaking two guitar strings and I think you could say the boys were giving it everything they had. Just don't know if I can stand it if they take more than a year to get back to Knoxville again. |

I was saying that's all I was hoping for and him cutting up was a bonus. Yeah, I saw it. I never left the area in front of my seat, but the seat didn't get used any. |

Yes it was awsome to meet Bo, Rodge, Tucky, and Jumpin' Bean. It was a great show. I was front row in the balcony and the view was perfect. I have never seen them play so dang hard as Knoxville. Can't wait till I see the DVD... |

While driving home today I was thinkin' over the weekend... everything about it was great... the music... the people... the frosty beverages... etc. As I reflected upon the whole experience one moment came forth as being especially poignant; At one point after the show Friday night, Bo turned to me and said something to the effect of, "I've got myself a perma-grin."
Is that grin still on your face Bo? I know mine is! |

This was by far the BEST show I've been too!!!! I'm glad pittsy got the set list down, 'cause I was too busy being blown away to keep track! There were too many moments to mention, but I think two of the highlights would have to be Kevin's knee slide and Willie on the fiddle for TP. There was a really tall guy on the front row that blocked my view of Willie for most of TP, but I still got to enjoy parts of it. I hope some of my pictures came out. My camera isn't so hot. I'll see if there is a way to scan some in and post them if they come out. As pittsy told said, my camera is "old school" and I have to get them developed first. I'm sure I have a lot more say, but my mind is still racing. I'll post more later if anything comes to me. |

here's a few random pics I took. I didn't focus on taking pictures and just enjoyed myself since they were filming it.
Her" Hey you wanna daynce with me?! No? You gotta girlfriend?"
me:"My buddy on the end is single and is a good dancer!"
her:"hey let's daynce!"
Jay:"what the f did you tell her roger?!"
me" I told her youre a good dancer!"
her:"come on buddy, it once in a lifetime! ye aint getting something this good again!"
jay:"sh*t!... (30 seconds later waltzin with her)
Her:(few songs later.. stumble hippy dancing)"I'm making my momma proud.. Im just out here making my momma proud, G** d*** it!" (hippy skips backwards with her arms up)
